It is one of our top priorities to protect the well-being of our valued patients. For this reason, our office meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards.
With the COVID-19 Pandemic we even upgraded our HVAC system for higher filtration's and more purified air.

Appointments
If you would like to make an appointment, please contact our office by phone (765.477.6100).
Our office facilitates communications and emergency calls and appointments are available and welcome, especially for new patients seeking help.
Cancellations
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient. A fee may be charged if a patient does not show up for an appointment without sufficient notice.We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing our practice for your dental care.

A Letter From Dr. Preuss to His Patients Aug.2021
To My Dear Patients and Friends,
It is with extreme excitement that I share this news with you. After 39 years of being the benefactor of your trust and loyalty, I have formulated a strategy that addresses the continuum of care that you have grown accustomed to at our office. In addition, this strategy will allow me to remain a part of your dental care and treatment.
As of July 28, 2021, Dr. Ashley Recker assumed ownership of Preuss’ Family Practice of Dentistry. I believe that Dr. Recker emulates the characteristics which I have valued and practiced during my career.
Dr. Recker’s dental journey began with an internship at a dental office as a senior in high school. A love of dentistry and people guided her to a career in dental hygiene for 12 years prior to returning to Indiana University School of Dentistry to become a General Dentist. She earned an Associate of Science degree from Indiana University, a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, and ultimately a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. One of her favorite aspects of dentistry is taking time to personally know her patients while delivering optimum dental care. Dr. Recker has stated that she “can’t wait to work alongside Dr. Preuss and Dr. Hardin and serve the Lafayette community.” She further stated that she “looks forward to continuing Dr. Preuss’ legacy of providing exceptional dental care.”
I would be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to express my gratitude to each of my staff members. I truly appreciate their steadfast loyalty to our practice philosophy and friendship throughout the years. As you each know from your experience at our office, they have added tremendous value to your comfort and dental well-being. I look forward to continuing to work with them as we collectively transfer our attention to successfully transitioning ownership to Dr. Recker.
As I have aged, one of my primary worries has been how to ensure that each of my patients continues to receive quality dental care…care that places an emphasis on caring for the whole patient. As I have become acquainted with Dr. Recker, I am confident that she possesses the necessary abilities to continue this legacy.
