Dr. Jerry Preuss
Dr. Jerry Preuss received his B.S. degree in 1971 from Indiana State University in Environment Health Science. While working for the EPA in Washington D.C., he attended Howard University Georgetown, and George Washington University while pursuing his masters in civil engineering. He attended the University of MD and received his Dental Doctorial in 1980. He started his dental practice in North Dakota while working for the public health service and treating the Native Americans of Chippewa Tribes.
In 1982 he moved his family to Lafayette and established The Family Practice of Dentistry. The practice has grown from the original 2 chair, 2 employee office to our current 7 chair, 13 employee office, while maintaining the traditional fundamental values of health care blended with the advantages of modern dentistry.
Dr. Preuss has been a member of the Tippecanoe county board of health for the past 20+ years, the YMCA board of directors, and the Jefferson High School Golden Bronchos board of Directors. In 2010, Dr. Preuss won the Best Dentist Award in Lafayette for the Journal and Courier's Readers Choice Awards. Outside of his family, Dr. Preuss enjoys spending time with his 4 grandchildren, woodworking, & golfing.

Dr. Ashley Recker
Dr. Recker’s dental journey began with an internship at a dental office as a senior in high school. A love of dentistry and people guided her to a career in dental hygiene for 12 years prior to returning to Indiana University School of Dentistry to become a General Dentist.
She earned an Associate of Science degree from Indiana University, a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, and ultimately a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
One of her favorite aspects of dentistry is taking time to personally know her patients while delivering optimum dental care.
Dr. Recker is married to her husband Luke and they have 3 young children. She enjoys Pickleball, cooking, bicycling, DIY projects, traveling, and looks forward to meeting each and every one of you!
Dr. Todd Hardin
Dr. Hardin graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2008.
Prior to studying at Dental School, he attended the University of Notre Dame.
Dr. Hardin has been with the practice for 10 years and is CEREC certified.
He is a member of the Greater Lafayette Study Club and Delta Sigma Delta dental society.
Outside of the practice, he is an avid golfer, Purdue fan, and enjoys outdoor activities.
